• MSc students in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC San Diego have the option to conduct research with a faculty member while taking classes, culminating in a Master's Thesis (Plan I), or the option to focus on our specifically-designed coursework curriculum culminating in a Comprehensive Examination (Plan II).
