Nurse educators have specialized knowledge and skills for preparing nursing students, practicing nurses, and interprofessional team members to provide quality care for patients in today's health care delivery system.
Nurse educators are needed in academic and clinical settings to facilitate learning that promotes the health of patients, families, communities, and populations.
As a masters student in the Nursing Education track, students will:
- Have mentoring and clinical supervision by nursing faculty in a variety of specialties, depending on your specific interest.
- Be prepared for teaching at community colleges, universities, or in clinical practice areas.
- Have the option of a full-time or part-time program of study.
