A marketing education from the Marketing Department at the David Eccles School of Business gives you a competitive advantage in one of the largest areas of employment in business today.
Marketing is the process of discovering unmet customer needs and wants, developing products and services to satisfy those needs, and using advertising, promotions, pricing, distribution, personal selling, and customer relationship management to build strong brands that attract and retain customers.
The Department of Marketing offers a wide range of courses to prepare students for careers in brand management, advertising, digital marketing, new product development, professional sales, and related marketing fields. Our department has an active internship program and a wide range of employment opportunities available to marketing students and graduates.
The undergraduate business program exists to prepare students to serve as effective and ethical business leaders. The program emphasizes instilling an entrepreneurial spirit and technological savvy in our students.
