Offered through SLU’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology, each track combines the University’s strengths in medical and life sciences with its engineering expertise. There is also an accelerated five-year Bachelor of Science to Master of Science option available.
SLU's biomedical engineering major offers you a foundation in core engineering classes and allows you to integrate undergraduate research into your experience starting your freshman year.
You'll have opportunities for collaborative research in areas such as biomechanics and orthopedics, tissue engineering, kinetics and metabolism, neuroengineering, medical robotics, medical imaging and more.
Many students also participate in SLU's Medical Scholars Program or the University Honors Program.
