Students in SLU’s nutrition and dietetics master’s program choose from three concentrations. You can also choose to pursue a dual degree with a Master of Science in nutrition and dietetics and a Master of Public Health.

Program highlights

SLU’s graduate nutrition and dietetics curriculum builds upon a strong foundation in the sciences and includes unique aspects such as the investigation of nutrition topics in the media, the study of ethnic meal patterns and hands-on exposure in clinical, culinary and management settings. Courses include classroom, lab and community experiences. Studying abroad is possible for students through planning with their academic advisers.

Careers

After graduating with a master’s in nutrition and dietetics, you can work as a chef/certified culinarian, consultant or registered dietitian.
