Offered through the Doisy College of Health Sciences, the program is designed mainly as a preparatory degree for post-baccalaureate studies, especially medical school.

Students majoring in investigative and medical science can select from several curriculum tracks that include pre-med and pre-physician assistant options. The program requires a minimum of 120 credit hours for degree completion and features a core of liberal arts courses complemented by strong basic science and medical courses.
You’ll additionally choose a minimum of 24 credit hours in a track that matches your professional goals. These hours may be applied to a minor or certificate, such as biology, health care ethics or health information management, or to a second bachelor’s degree in a major such as forensic science.
