Through a curriculum both varied and inter-related subjects such as bioethics, spirituality, kinesiology and health policy, encourage our CHS majors to explore health from multiple perspectives: emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental as well as physical.

The School of Community Health Sciences (public health) currently has a single major, Community Health Sciences. Our undergraduate students are prepared to work in a variety of public and private positions from hospital administration to community health educator to fitness training. In addition, the broad perspective of health that our undergraduate students develop has been recognized as a distinct advantage for graduate programs including medicine, physical therapy, business and public health among many others.
