All of the school's baccalaureate programs are fully accredited nationally by the American Association for Colleges of Nursing and approved by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.

The aim of the School of Nursing is to prepare graduates to function as professional nurses in a variety of health care settings. Students are provided an opportunity to learn and to practice nursing in special learning laboratories and in a variety of settings where people need nursing care. Graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The undergraduate program serves as a foundation for graduate study.
