The ?programme offered by the?Duquesne University?consists of courses and experiences organized into three major areas of study: General Education, Foundations of Education, and Professional Preparation. The?faculty?work with you to address professional standards in each of the curriculum areas through course projects and implementation of the standards in fieldwork.?

Toward the end of your studies, you will get the opportunity to student teach in an urban, suburban, or rural school . You will also have the option to experience a part of your student teaching abroad in Italy, Ireland, or England for eight weeks in an English-speaking classroom.
