A minor in communication will supplement major or professional degree by providing interdisciplinary perspectives to understand and interact with people and society. Transferrable skills emphasized in this department include critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and research with human subjects. All minors require a prerequisite introductory course, a course (or sequence) in research design and methods, four elective courses, and a capstone experience.
