The 30-hour mechanical engineering graduate program strengthens the ability to creatively solve technical problems.
The degree gives students technical expertise to further their engineering career.
Though designed for students with undergraduate mechanical engineering degrees, they can enter the program conditionally if they have a degree in another engineering or related field.
By the time students graduate, their experiences may include:
- At least 24 graduate credit hours of coursework
- At least three credit hours of graduate research
- One graduate math course (statistics, numerical methods, or engineering analysis) approved by their advisor

Academic Requirements:

A bachelor's degree considered to be the equivalent of a US bachelor's degree. Some three-year bachelor's degrees are not considered equivalent to a US bachelor's degree.
In those circumstances, applicants are required to complete a two-year master's equivalent degree in order to be eligible to apply.
A GPA evaluation of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework for unconditional admission.
A GPA of at least 2.5 may be considered for conditional admission.
