This program is unique because it is rooted in interdisciplinary teaching and research that puts into practice the St. Ignatius charism of cura personalis, care for the whole person: body, mind and spirit.

Students who have an interest in learning to work one-on-one with people of all ages for the purpose of fostering the creation of health so that each individual can optimally thrive in the community in which they live, work and spend their time will be drawn to this program.

Students in this program will also be prepared to sit for various health and wellness coaching certification exams.

Outcomes

Graduates of this program can move into the workforce in the health and wellness industry, including health and wellness coaching, continue their education in a graduate level program, or matriculate into a health professions program. Graduates entering the workforce can work for employer wellness programs, community health programs, private health and wellness programs, and in traditional health care settings.
