• The Major in International Economics in Russian is designed to give students this edge by preparing students for the challenges of an ever more interconnected global economy.
  • The requirements for the major include eight economics courses plus six courses in Russian language, literature, and culture beyond Russian 20101: 
  • Intermediate Russian I. Students are also required to enroll in the one-credit course “Exploring International Economics,” preferably in their sophomore year, which fosters an integrated approach to the study of culture and economics.
  • Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, all International Economics Majors combine their study of economics and language, literature, and culture in a senior research project.
