• There are two options once students have completed the requirements for two programs, Double Major or Dual Degree.
  • Whichever option they choose, it must be completed in 10 semesters.
  • Once a student has graduated, the transcript is closed. A student cannot be awarded a degree retroactively after having graduated, even if they have fulfilled all of the requirements. However, they can apply for a Post-Graduate Second Bachelor's Degree.
  • A double major requires only 120 total credits, i.e., the same as a single major. In other words, students have earned one degree, but they have fulfilled the requirements for two majors.
  • A dual degree requires an additional 30 credits, and they have earned a second Bachelor's degree.
  • For both options, students generally declare a second major near the end of their sophomore year. For a dual degree, additional paperwork must be filed with the Registrar's office.
