Crop and Soil Science students participate in soil sampling and soil labs that take place at the Illinois State's University Farm. They also have the chance to participate in various soils judging contests around the United States through the Ag Science Club and judging teams.

The Agriculture major at Illinois State offers a wide array of sequences to prepare students planning on working in any aspect within the agricultural industry.
