The MA program is designed to provide all students with advanced training in political science and political science research methods.
Students take at least five courses in the Department of Political Science and become proficient in one of the research tools used in the discipline. At the same time, students can develop their curriculum around a specific area of interest or subfield.
The department is organized into four major subfields: American politics, comparative politics, international relations, and political theory.
The subfield of American politics focuses on party politics, elections, the branches of government, state and local government, public policy, social movements, and other political and governmental issues in the United States.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is required to get admission in this program.
A GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Submission of the GRE exam is optional and not required.

The following Documents are required to attend this program:

Statement of Purpose: An essay or other written statement written by the student.
Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
Academic Documents: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended.
Sample of written work: Student has to write something interesting as their sample essay in the application form.
Statement of Interest: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
Two confidential letters of recommendation: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics, and that references should submit along with the application system.
