• Students may conduct research in any area represented by the faculty. Research opportunities exist in ecology, behavior, genetics, evolutionary biology, conservation biology, physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. The program culminates in a written thesis that is defended by the student and approved by the department.
  • Students interested in developing skills in the molecular biology and biotechnology may conduct research leading to the Master of Science degree with emphasis on biotechnology.?
