The Master of Arts program in history offers advanced study to qualified students in American, European, and global history.
The department has two offerings leading to the Master of Arts degree, a global history track (which can include courses in Modern Europe) and a US history track. The department offers courses in American, Modern European history, and global history.

Academic Eligibility:

Candidates must have the equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
GPA of 3.0 or better in history courses.

Indian Student Eligibility:

The minimum requirements are an overall average of 60% in each year, as well as in all prerequisite subjects.
Subjects must include mathematics, chemistry, and physics in Class 11 and 12.
GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B Grade].

English Language proficiency:

For non-native speakers of English, a TOEFL score of 22 for each section of the iBT;
An IELTS score of 7.0 with no band lower than 6.5, or a previous degree earned from an accredited U.S. institution subject to departmental standards.
