These programs are distinctive, in that students are exposed to all principal disciplines within each program and have the flexibility to choose a concentration of courses in a discipline that interests them. Students in each program have opportunities to obtain field experience, prepare for postgraduate studies, and engage in scholarly and professional activities.
The department offers--completely by distance delivery--a Master of Science degree in Agricultural and Natural Resources Systems Management, designed to prepare working agriculture and natural resources professionals for career advancement. Both faculty and students in the department engage in public service and limited applied research related to needs of the region.
