The Master of Science: Special Education program is for currently licensed teachers seeking anchor, initial or additional special education licensure. The Master of Science: Special Education requires a minimum of 34 graduate credits. Up to 9 graduate transfer credits are allowed. Minnesota Board of Teaching requirements must be met if seeking licensure.

The courses are available to individuals who hold a Minnesota teaching license. The ASD program offers courses for candidates seeking an anchor or additional license. All Minnesota teaching license requirements must be met to be eligible for the ASD license.

?The Autism Spectrum Disorder program leading to licensure, or certificate, is available to individuals who hold a Minnesota teaching license. A certificate is also available if preferred.

?Upon application to the program, transcripts will be reviewed and evaluated to ensure the Special Education Core courses and the required reading courses have been taken.
