The Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs graduate program offers a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling and Student Development with an emphasis in Counselor Education and Supervision.  The program requires a minimum of 96 hours post baccalaureate. Training extends beyond that found in the entry-level, basic master’s program. The doctoral program addresses the professional leadership roles in counselor education, supervision, advanced counseling practice, and research competencies.
