Students learn to become transformational leaders and will be eligible for leadership positions at the level of Assistant Principal or below within the building, or any leadership position at the district level that does not supervise principals.

PROGRAM DELIVERY MODEL

The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership is offered in a 50/50 hybrid format at our Atlanta, Macon and Henry County locations. Students are admitted three times per year in August, January and May. Courses operate on a time-compressed format, with eight-week class sessions. Students will alternate between in-class meetings and on-site, clinical practice hours at their own schools.

Tier One Educational Leadership Certification-Only

Tift College of Education also offers a non-degree, Tier One Educational Leadership Certification-Only program. This program is open to students who hold a Master's degree or higher from a regionally-accredited college or university, and a current Level 5 Georgia certificate in any field.?
