Architecture is a small community within the larger community of Texas Tech University. This home away from home for students becomes a place where everyone gets to know each other and develop relationships that continue throughout their lifetimes. We foster an environment of mutual respect, appreciation, and tolerance for differing values, beliefs, and backgrounds.

The Bachelor of Science in Architecture consists of 131 credit hours of undergraduate courses. This program has two components: general architecture and pre-professional. The B.S. in Architecture degree will give students knowledge of and career opportunities in architecture, the building industry, and related fields. This also prepares students to continue into the master’s degree program to obtain an accredited professional degree.
