The program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. All accredited programs are required to provide the following minimum level of instruction: one year of mathematics and basic sciences; one and one-half years of engineering science and design (engineering topics); and one-half year of humanities and social sciences.
