• Master of Music at the University of Nebraska is a 1-year program.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The objectives of the Master's degree are to expand the student’s knowledge and understanding of the development and structure of music in the Western World and to allow the student to develop to a high level in performance, scholarship, or music education.
  • It is a 32-semester hour program consisting of 13 semester hours of core requirements plus 19 semester hours taken within one of three specializations.
