The? program offered by Rider University?combines a solid analytical foundation with broad coverage on how the financial system operates. Programs of study are structured to benefit students who will enter both finance and non-finance careers.

The faculty identify the following four items as the key learning objectives for this major:

• To prepare students so they can enter and succeed in careers in investments, corporate finance, banking and other finance-related professions.

• To enable our majors to enter and succeed in careers outside of finance where knowledge of the finance discipline would be a valuable asset.

• To provide an academic background that would enable a student to enter a high-quality graduate business program.

• To enhance the financial literacy of students so that they will have the basics required to manage their personal financial affairs.
