All Criminal Justice majors are required to complete 120 semester hours of coursework that include 39 hours of criminal justice courses. Of these 39 hours, students must complete the required courses that provide the foundation for upper division core classes.

In addition to these foundation courses, students are required to complete two courses from each of the two core areas of Crime and Deviance and Criminal Justice Institutions and Processes. The core areas each include several courses from which the student may select.
