Southeastern’s English and intercultural studies program will prepare you to have an impact on other cultures — both academically and spiritually. Perhaps you will develop an English curriculum for a church interested in cross-cultural ministry, or you may even spend time overseas yourself, teaching English while broadening your own education and cultural understandings. In the program itself, you will take English, education and missions classes, developing three skill components that are important for cross-cultural ministry. You may also choose to participate in one of our study abroad opportunities offered through the CCCU. England, Africa and Australia are just a few of the destinations available where our students choose to study. At the culmination of your studies, you will complete a capstone internship combining your professional interests with all three academic areas — English, teaching and missions.
