As a management student at WMU, you will have many opportunities to learn from industry leaders about their business experiences and market trends through the Haworth College of Business' Keystone Bank Breakfast Series and Distinguished Speaker Series.

If you choose this major, you will learn how to acquire and organize a variety of human and material resources as well as become an effective decision-maker.

Through the management major, you will have real-world exposure to business challenges and the opportunity to problem solve to reach solutions.

During every academic year, our students contribute more than 8,000 hours of assistance to nearly 30 entrepreneurs, small business owners and non-profit organizations seeking insight on growth opportunities. Additionally, our majors collaborate with a number of professional organizations in southwest Michigan, including the Small Business Development Center, the Service Corp of Retired Executives and a variety of municipalities.
