Academic Eligibility:
- Students should earn Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university or international equivalent with an undergraduate major in Accounting.
- If the undergraduate degree is in a discipline other than accountancy, the undergraduate prerequisite courses listed below must be successfully completed with a grade of C or higher prior to being admitted to the program.
- Principles of Accounting I and II
- Intermediate Accounting I and II
- Macroeconomics
- Microeconomics
- One of the following upper-level courses: Cost Accounting, Taxation or Advanced Accounting Theory
- Recommended, but not required: Statistics (if needed for State CPA exam)
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree from a recognized institution
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
