As information technology continues to evolve and expand, IT professionals with both technical and management expertise will be highly sought after. Students in this program will increase their technology and business aptitude as they prepare to become leaders in information technology. Graduates are well prepared for careers as project managers, information systems managers, systems software managers and chief information officer.
After completing the two required project management courses, students will be prepared to take the Project Management Institute?s Certified Associated Project Manager or the Project Manager Professional certification exams.
This program is a STEM-designated degree program which qualifies graduates for an optional practical training (OPT) extension of 24 months, for a total of 36 months.
