• Information Assurance and Security (InfoSec) is a cutting-edge graduate concentration in the Master of Science in Technology program at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology in Indianapolis.
  • It provides a rigorous curriculum in cybersecurity and is focused on innovative education and research in this fast-paced and dynamic field.
  • The MSc program typically takes one and half years of full-time study to complete.
  • The MSc Tech in InfoSec concentration has two program options: Directed Project or Course-Only.
  • The Directed Project option requires a minimum of 30 hours of coursework plus three credit hours of a Directed Project in the area of Information Assurance and Security.  The Course-Only option requires a minimum of 33 hours of coursework.
  • The InfoSec concentration is part of the National Security Agency (NSA) National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and in Information Assurance Research (CAE/IAE and CAE/R).
  • Students will have the opportunity to become student members of the Purdue CERIAS center and IU CACR center.
  • Students also have the opportunity to work as research assistants in NSF-funded research and education projects.
  • MSc students will be prepared to continue their studies in a PhD program at Purdue University in CIS, ECE, or CIT.
