The Department of Biology offers graduate programs in Biology. The graduate program in Biology has two-degree tracks: the Cell and Molecular Biology degree track, and the Ecology and Evolution degree track. The Development and Regulatory Biology group includes faculty with interests in cancer biology, genomics, cell signaling, embryonic development and regeneration, human genetics, transcriptional regulation, microRNAs, and nuclear receptors.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the requirement of the program:
- The student should have a Baccalaureate Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or an equivalent discipline.
- The minimum credit hours required for this degree is that Ph.D. students entering with a Bachelor’s degree: 54.0 and Ph.D. students entering with an MS degree: 24.0.
