The objectives of the ISE program can be summarized as follows:
- Develop, implement and improve systems or subsystems comprised of people, processes, hardware, or software elements that are innovative, reliable, and cost-efficient.
- Use ISE tools to address real-world problems and create solutions consistent with societal needs including economic, ethical, and environmental considerations.
