Students interested in Physics teaching certification should seek advisement in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. In addition, Physics is a gateway into other areas, such as Astronomy, Biophysics, Chemistry, Computational Science, Geophysics, Engineering, Medicine, Oceanography, Patent law, and Radiology.
