• The program provides students with a wide range of skills and tools necessary to work in the public health arena. The integrated, evidence-based core and foundational courses, along with a concentration, enable all students to achieve mastery of both discipline-specific and cross-cutting competencies.
  • The M.P.H. curriculum was derived from the model curriculum of the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH). Courses are designed in accordance with the ASPH core competencies and discipline-specific competencies.
  • Graduates of the Master of Public Health program are prepared to assume key roles in public health organizations as managers, researchers, educators, advocates and directors. They will ultimately provide leadership in creating and implementing programs and policy that promote the ideals of public health.
  • The program will provide an interdisciplinary academic program of study that fosters skill acquisition and competency in key areas of public health practice, both current and emerging. The M.P.H. program is face to face with classes offered in the evenings at the Garden City campus.
