In the Spanish program, students will:

  • Benefit from small class sizes that allow for a high degree of interaction and mentoring from accomplished full-time faculty.
  • Gain real-world experience and connections through internships offered at various schools in the surrounding community.
  • Have the option to enroll in a double major and complement other areas of study, including teaching, political science, government, history, psychology, speech language pathology or international business.
  • Engage in the evolving global community with a variety of study abroad opportunities.
  • Enhance the learning experience with research opportunities that include independent study, individualized instruction or supervised student internships.
  • Have access to the Ryan Matura Library online services and resources that offer online texts, tutorials, virtual language, and online films.
  • Join La Hispanidad Student Club, which organizes field trips and various theme nights, and gives students interested in Spanish and Latino heritage the opportunity to connect.
