Mechanical Engineers are now required to have design thinking skills for complex system to understand and interact with a large number of subsystem design experts. To graduate engineers with these new design thinking skills and technical abilities, the mechanical engineering undergraduate curriculum is anchored on series of design courses.
The curriculum includes cornerstone, capstone courses and provide systemic competence in four thematic focus areas (Thermofluid Engineering, Solid Mechanics, System Dynamics and Control, Design and Manufacturing) essential to students; career success.
