North Carolina Central University, with a strong tradition of teaching, research, and service, prepares students to become global leaders and practitioners who transform communities. The curriculum includes courses in American government and politics, international affairs, political theory, and political methodology. The deartment offers a Pre-Law program, designed to prepare students for law school. In addition to the course work, students receive counseling and other necessary assistance in making their choice of a law school. They will be able to interview with various law schools that conduct interviews on our campus. In addition, the department offers an online Law School Admission Test (LSAT) prep course, as well as its own Writing Lab and computer lab.
