• The program features eight semesters of engineering design and problem solving focused on challenges at the interface of biology, medicine and engineering, as well as traditional classroom and laboratory learning.
  • The design sequence culminates with the senior year Capstone design project, where students partner with an industry or clinic professional to design a solution to a real-world problem.
  • The strong, broad foundation in engineering and biomedical sciences in the first two years is followed by in-depth study in an area of each student's choosing.
