Students in the program gain insight into the human dimension of organizational life, study public finance and the policy-making process; acquire specific skills associated with managing nonprofit and public sector organizations, and develop their understanding of international affairs. The overall goal is to establish a foundation of management skills (people, programs or policies) required to become a leader in a nonprofit or public sector organization in an international context. Coursework is a balance of theory and practice, focusing on the fundamental principles applicable to management in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. The program provides students the opportunity to gain expertise in a specific policy area such as human rights, development, security or global health.
