ALP LLM is designed to produce practice-ready graduates with a strong grasp of the practical skills necessary to practice law in the United States or to engage in transactions with US trained-lawyers. The program builds upon Denver Law’s reputation and commitment to experiential, practice-based learning. Students will particularly benefit from the “Carnegie Integrated Curriculum” which supports simulated or practice-oriented learning environment in the context of substantive law.
The LLM coursework combines the synergies of school’s nationally ranked International Legal Studies program, Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Policy program, the highly regarded Corporate and Commercial Law program as well as school’s strengths in trial practice and other areas that naturally lend themselves towards the practice-based learning approach.
ALP LLM students are fully integrated into Denver Law’s JD classes in order to receive the benefit from a complete immersion into a US law school environment. Program emphasizes small class size for each entering cohort in order to maximize the amount of individualized attention to each student through advising in an effort to enhance student’s academic success and professional development.
