Students have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of courses, including interdisciplinary subjects such as cultural and gender studies. They may also enroll in small group tutorials that allow them to dive deep into a topic that interests them.
Many choose to use the MA degree as a springboard to apply for a PhD program in English. Graduates may also find success in writing-focused careers, such as creative writing, copywriting, publishing, journalism, business communication or technical writing.
