• The program may be initiated during the final semesters of the first professional degree in architecture and engineering. After foundational coursework and electives, each student develops an individually-focused thesis or a capstone project on a topic of interest, with a faculty adviser. The M.S.Arch. program is designed to provide a base for professional application, as well as future advanced doctoral study. 
  • U-SoA also offers an 12-month Master of Science for those looking for specialized training in one of five tracks: Classical and Traditional Architecture, Computational and Embedded Technology, Healthcare Design, Historical Preservation or Resilient Sustainable Building Technology.
