All majors at the University of South Carolina receive a similar range of operational and management instruction. The combination of two mandatory internship experiences and exciting electives will allow you to tailor your learning to a specific setting. In your courses, you will develop important skills including analytical, communication, organization, time management, human resource management, service management and technology skills.

The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management is accredited through Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration. It is one of just two Club Management Association of America certified programs and one of only six offering Introduction to Master Sommelier Training.
