A stage manager is responsible for the calling of all rehearsals, assembling and maintaining the prompt book, along with cue sheets, plots, daily records, etc., as necessary for the technical and artisitc operation of the produciton. In addition, a stage manager maintains the artistic intentions of the director and the producer after opening, to the best of his/her ability and keeps records to advise the producer on matters of discipline, such as attendance.
