The program offers doctoral majors in entrepreneurship as well as strategic management. Both of these degrees prepare graduate students for successful careers as researchers and professors in those respective fields. Doctoral students in the entrepreneurship degree take courses in entrepreneurship theory and strategic entrepreneurship, supplemented by other doctoral seminars within the department. The courses in the strategic management degree focus on managing the total enterprise at the strategic level, aligning its unique characteristics and competencies with its external environment. The faculty members in these degree areas focus on a wide variety of topics and frequently collaborate with doctoral students.
