• The program combines language study in Greek and Latin with History coursework that builds upon a student's background in ancient history. Students who complete the program will emerge with a strong grounding in ancient languages and an enhanced understanding of the history of the ancient world. This is a terminal degree and those wishing to pursue a Ph.D. in Ancient History will need to apply to the Ph.D. program upon completion.
