Indiana University’s Department of Mathematics offers a four years bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Students learn about operations on integers and rational numbers, exponents, and evaluating algebraic expressions.
Graduates also learn about operations with fractions, exponents, linear equations, inequalities, and elementary graphs.
Students choosing this major should carefully consider the different types of courses available and how different areas of math may complement her/his interests and goals.
Math B.A. majors take courses in at least two areas (see "coursework" below).
Math B.A. majors gain general analytical and problem-solving skills that are both useful and marketable.
Students also gain a broad perspective of the power and beauty of mathematics.

Academic Eligibility:

Official grade 12 board exam results (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination / Senior School Certificate Examination – Class XII / Indian School Certificate – Year 12) are required.
Grade 10 Board Exam Results Issued by the Examination Body and Internal Grade 11 Secondary School Transcript.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

College Transcripts: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
Personal Video: Students may upload a 1-3 minute personal video in the application's Audio/Visual uploads section.
Interview and Writing Test: After applying, students may be required to complete an interview and/or writing test.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
