- The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is a four-year undergraduate program that provides students with a solid foundation in the principles of mechanical engineering, as well as the necessary skills and knowledge to design, analyze, and manufacture mechanical systems.
- Throughout the program, students will take a range of courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering, as well as specialized courses in topics such as mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, heat transfer, dynamics and controls, and design and manufacturing.
- In addition, students will have opportunities to participate in research projects, internships, and other hands-on experiences that will help them apply what they've learned in the classroom to real-world problems.
